STEMFest at American Helicopter Museum

BLAST Robotics Team 10989 proudly participated as an exhibitor at STEMFest 2026, hosted by the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Throughout the event, our students engaged with hundreds of visitors, including students, parents, educators, and STEM enthusiasts. Through live robot demonstrations and interactive conversations, they showcased how robotics, engineering, programming, and teamwork help develop critical problem-solving and leadership skills.
STEMFest provided an excellent opportunity to inspire young learners to explore STEM pathways while giving visitors a firsthand look at the exciting projects and experiences available through robotics programs.
The event also created valuable networking opportunities for our team. Students and mentors connected with representatives from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and other engineering professionals to discuss future collaborations, mentorship opportunities, and initiatives that can further support STEM education and workforce development.
At BLAST Robotics, we believe every interaction can spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators. We are grateful to everyone who visited our booth, shared ideas, and supported STEM learning.
The future is bright, and today’s conversations are helping shape tomorrow’s leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Team 10989 Showcases Robotics, Engineering, and STEM Opportunities at the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center
BLAST Robotics Team 10989 proudly participated as an exhibitor at STEMFest 2026, hosted by the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The event brought together students, families, educators, industry professionals, and STEM organizations from across the region to celebrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on learning and community engagement.
Throughout the day, BLAST Robotics students welcomed hundreds of visitors to their exhibit, providing an interactive experience that highlighted the exciting world of robotics and engineering. Attendees included elementary school students taking their first steps into STEM exploration, middle and high school students interested in robotics programs, parents seeking educational opportunities, educators looking for innovative learning experiences, and professionals passionate about workforce development and technology education.
Visitors had the opportunity to see robotics technology in action through live demonstrations conducted by BLAST Robotics team members. Students explained the engineering design process, shared insights into robot construction and programming, demonstrated problem-solving strategies used during competitions, and discussed the importance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving success. These conversations provided valuable opportunities for young learners to gain a deeper understanding of how STEM concepts are applied in real-world situations.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the event was witnessing the excitement and curiosity sparked among younger students. Many visitors had the chance to interact directly with the team, ask questions about robotics, and learn how STEM skills can lead to future careers in engineering, technology, manufacturing, aviation, and other high-demand industries. Through these interactions, BLAST Robotics continued its mission of inspiring the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers.
In addition to community outreach, STEMFest 2026 provided valuable networking opportunities that may lead to future partnerships and collaborative initiatives. BLAST Robotics team members and mentors connected with representatives from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), engineering professionals, educators, and other STEM-focused organizations. These discussions explored possibilities for mentorship programs, technical workshops, career exploration opportunities, and partnerships designed to expand access to high-quality STEM education for students throughout the region.
Events such as STEMFest play a critical role in strengthening connections between students, educational organizations, industry leaders, and the broader community. By participating in these events, BLAST Robotics helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications, showing students how STEM knowledge can be transformed into meaningful innovations and future career pathways.
At BLAST Robotics, we firmly believe that every conversation, demonstration, and hands-on experience has the potential to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and inspire future leaders. The enthusiasm displayed by visitors throughout the event serves as a reminder that the future of science, technology, and engineering is bright when students are given opportunities to explore, create, and dream big.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the American Helicopter Museum & Education Center for hosting STEMFest 2026 and providing a platform for organizations to engage with the community. We also thank every student, parent, educator, volunteer, and STEM enthusiast who visited our booth, asked thoughtful questions, shared ideas, and supported STEM education.
Today’s conversations have the power to become tomorrow’s innovations, and BLAST Robotics is proud to be part of that journey.
Together, we are building the future—one student, one idea, and one innovation at a time.
