We are proud to announce that Keystone STEM Alliance and BLAST Robotics (FRC Team 10989) have officially initiated a partnership with FIRSTxMIT to support long-term STEM capacity building, mentorship development, and sustainable program growth.

This collaboration represents an important milestone in our mission to expand access to high-quality STEM education, robotics, engineering, and leadership opportunities for students from underserved and underrepresented communities.

Through this partnership, Keystone STEM Alliance and BLAST Robotics will work alongside FIRSTxMIT to strengthen the technical, educational, and organizational foundations of our programs. The initiative is designed to create a stronger ecosystem for innovation, hands-on learning, and student success while empowering volunteers, mentors, and educators with additional resources and support.

The partnership will focus on several key areas, including:

  • Building sustainable and scalable STEM and robotics programs
  • Expanding mentorship opportunities for students and volunteers
  • Strengthening engineering design, programming, and technical training
  • Supporting leadership development and team management skills
  • Enhancing collaboration within the broader FIRST robotics community
  • Creating long-term pathways for students pursuing STEM careers and higher education

By connecting students with experienced mentors and a larger network of STEM professionals and innovators, this collaboration will provide meaningful opportunities for experiential learning, problem-solving, teamwork, and real-world engineering exposure.

For BLAST Robotics (FRC Team 10989), the partnership will further strengthen the team’s ability to compete, innovate, and grow while developing a strong student-led engineering culture rooted in creativity, collaboration, and perseverance.

For Keystone STEM Alliance, this initiative aligns with our broader vision of building sustainable STEM ecosystems that empower young learners through robotics, technology, research, and community-driven education programs.

We believe this partnership marks the beginning of a long-term journey that will positively impact students, mentors, volunteers, and communities by fostering innovation, leadership, and equitable access to STEM opportunities.

We look forward to the opportunities ahead and are excited to continue growing together with FIRSTxMIT and the wider robotics and STEM community.
