FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) – Coming Summer 2026

Grades: 7–10

The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) bridges the gap between LEGO robotics and FRC.
Students design, build, and code mid-sized robots that can fit in an 18-inch cube, using modular parts, sensors, and Java programming.

Our FTC program — to be launched in Summer 2026 — will introduce more students to hands-on robotics and competition-based learning.
It provides a flexible environment for experimentation, problem solving, and innovation.

Program Highlights:

  • Robot design and programming using Android-based controllers
  • Strategic gameplay and autonomous coding
  • Collaboration, teamwork, and leadership
  • Exposure to mechanical and electrical engineering concepts

Goal:
Create multiple FTC teams across middle schools and community hubs, offering a stepping stone toward our high school FRC program.
