Sophomores kickstart robotics competition team

The community robotics team, Blast 10989, builds parts of their next robotics project. Over the summer, it held a weeklong camp for middle schoolers and rising freshmen. They hope to continue expanding their services to the community.

In May, sophomores Virat and Vivaan Krishna Ponugoti founded 10989 Blast Robotics, a community-based robotics team under their 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Keystone STEM Alliance Inc. 10989 Blast is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team that participates in competitions and provides community-based robotics opportunities.

Co-founded by Vivaan Ponugoti, who also serves as team captain of Keystone STEM Alliance, Inc., the group exemplifies youth-driven excellence and innovation in STEM education.
